Montrose is just over an hour from Grand Junction. Depending on where you are flying from, flights can be cheaper utilizing this airport.

Denver is an approximate 4 hours east of Grand Junction by car. This is a great option for those that are renting vehicles and would like to travel through the Rocky Mountains.

Salt Lake City is another great option for a larger airport and for those who will be renting a vehicle. It is located approximately 4 hours from Grand Junction by vehicle.
House Or Rental
Hotels, Airbnbs and Public Land
If staying in a hotel, we recommend any of the hotels located in downtown Grand Junction (avoid the ones by the airport). There are also several Airbnbs around town if that is better suited. While the wedding is in Fruita, the venue is only 12 miles from downtown. We would suggest deciding what you would like to do while here outside of the wedding, then plan where you are staying accordingly. The joys of living in a smaller town is nothing is too far away and we do not have traffic like you see in the bigger cities. :) There is also a ton of public land if you are planning on camping.
