You could say it was love at first sight, but truth be told, their love story was not made overnight. Brendon met Helen working at Hustler Casino and mistook her for someone else. In that moment everything changed! Brendon could not take his eyes off Helen, and Helen could not stop herself from talking to Brendon. It wasn't until they had a moment alone that they realized this could be something more. Brendon and Helen made their relationship official on December 13th, 2014 when Helen finally said yes!

It wasn't something out of a fairy tale - it was better! Brendon surprised Helen for her birthday by planning a trip to Europe. They laughed, they cried and they shared a quiche every morning at the Louvre garden in Paris. That day they walked along the Champs-Élysées, all the way down to the Arc de Triomphe and continued on to the Eiffel Tower. When they finally made it to the Eiffel Tower, it was cold, windy, and the sun was starting to set, but the lights that made the Eiffel Tower sparkle had not yet been turned on. So instead, Brendon and Helen found a little rustic cafe on the corner of Avenue de Suffren where they indulged in some wine and tried escargot. As soon as they left the cafe they rushed back to the Eiffel Tower to get a picture. It was dark and you could barely see a thing, but standing under a tree, looking up at the lights, Brendon got down on one knee and asked Helen to marry him. Helen was left breathless and uttered the word, "Really!". She repeated it three times before she was finally able to catch her breath and said yes!
