We're getting married!

Jaclyn and I both went to Punahou in 6th grade and played soccer, however never really knew much about each other until medical school at JABSOM. Our first real interaction was when our mutual friend Ariana and Jaclyn were getting drinks one night near my house and I joined them. Jaclyn and I started dating soon after in December 2015 (Jaclyn's first year of medical school and my second year). We spent our first 2 years in Hawaii working hard and playing hard. We were either studying for exams at Starbucks or grabbing a drink at Gordon Biersch. After graduation, I decided to do my internal medicine training in Santa Clara, California. We managed our long-distance relationship for one year which seemed like forever. In 2019, I could not be more excited that Jaclyn was accepted at Kaiser Oakland program to start her internal medicine training. Many of our friends and family who visited us in Union City certainly appreciated our lovely suburban and quaint apartment. Despite the 2020 pandemic, I surprised Jaclyn with a customized book of our 5 year relationship with the proposal on the last page. I anxiously awaited while she turned the pages incredibly slowly. I got down on one knee and she said yes! We are very excited for you to join us at Turtle Bay in April 2022. Can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!
