We are getting married!!

At his family's ranch with my favorite love song playing.- If We Were Vampires by Jason Isbell- with Champagne chilled and beautiful flowers and candles. On a wet and cold day the best man I have ever met asked me to marry him and I said yes without hesitation.

I showed up at the Parole Officer Training Academy for new job training. He was a new trainer ready for his second class. Neither one of us knew that we would meet someone who would change our lives for the better. Even if he did wait 8 months before asking me out after graduation.

I first met Ms. Brandi in my second class and after she graduated, I waited a bit to reach out. Kept professional distance and real reason was...I didnt ask for number... So, I figured she would have to be back in Austin eventually for another training at some point...then I could make my move. Well, it took an unexpected 8 months for her to return but she finally did and its been amazing ever since. I tell her I had a plan the whole time....!
