The very first photo of us together, ages 18 and 19. B still has that shirt. N forgot that it used to be black.

The first time we went on a real date outside, at the Pima Air and Space Museum. B learned pretty early on that airplanes were one of the surest ways to N’s heart.

Are they teasing each other or sharing sweet nothings? Kind of hard to tell with those two sometimes.

B insisted that we have this one in there. N hopes she didn’t peak in attractiveness at the tender age of 19.

We went to go see Trevor Noah for B’s 19th birthday. N decided to stick her tongue out in a photo because reasons while B looked on in confusion and trepidation….

…until he decided to lean over and match her weirdness. N combined these two photos into a GIF that they look at whenever they need a laugh.

Our first anniversary, and literally the only one we’ve spent in the same state. Getting married on our sixth anniversary seemed fitting, to say the least.

First Christmas where B flew in to spend it with N’s family. This excited, shaky photo taken in baggage claim at LAX was sent to N’s mom.

N’s 21st, all fancy and sophisticated. The meal was excellent. Also the last time N wore a dress out in public.

We love this place, and hope to go back many times.

N knew B was the one when her cat loved him as much as she did. The feeling is mutual on his end.

In 2020, B flew halfway across the country on three days notice to Rochester, MN to be with N for a treatment program at Mayo Clinic. N says that’s one of the most loving acts she’s ever experienced.

Uh, duh, of course I will, I’ve wanted to marry you since we’d only known each other for three months AND you included airplanes. I’d have to have head trauma to say no to this.

Taken moments after hopping off the zoom call with B’s family to announce their engagement. N was extremely nervous and still overwhelmed with Newly Engaged Feelings.

At 10:17 PM on 6/17/23, five years of long distance finally came to an end. Our sixth anniversary, which came nine days later, was extra sweet since it was the first one we spent together since 2018.
