Sleepy Bee is one of our regular go-to brunch spots on a lazy Sunday. They’re all about the locally sourced organic ingredients. We go because the food tastes good. Pro tip: It does have heavy wait times on the weekends. If you use the app “NoWait,” you can save a spot in line before you arrive.
Coppin’s is a top date night spot. It’s inside a fancy hotel and has a gorgeous patio space that occasionally plays live music. We even considered having our wedding there! Spoiler- it didn’t make the cut, but we’re still obsessed. Pro tip: Get the corn fritters. Always get the corn fritters.
Cincinnati is home to many breweries, but this one is our absolute favorite. Check out the dog friendly beer garden, play some shuffleboard, and drink an unlimited selection of beer. If Jonas could go here every weekend, he would. Pro tip: They also have good pizza. Geniuses.
Who doesn’t like fruit punch? Myrtle’s Punch House is a nice place to meet a group of friends and start off the night. They have a wide range of juices and syrups that they make in house. +3 points if you spot a bartender with a handlebar moustache. Pro tip: It tastes better when you purchase it by the bowl.
The Cincinnati Art Museum (where the wedding will be held) is nestled in Eden Park, one of the largest parks in Cincinnati. It also holds the Krohn Conservatory, Mirror Lake, a Presidential Grove and lots of green space for a general hangout- nothing specific. Pro tip: The conservatory has an annual butterfly exhibit each spring!
Technically a farmer’s market, but in reality, so much more. Findlay Market is one of the best known places in Cincinnati. Go during a weekend day to experience it at its fullest. It has everything, from barbeque (Eli’s) and pho (Pho Lang Thang) to succulents and luxury dog toys. Pro tip: The line at Taste of Belgium is worth it. Go for one of the waffle breakfast sandwiches. You deserve it.
