The plan God had for our lives was set into motion long before we met. Who knew that we would both suddenly leave our home states in 2018 and travel to Appleton, WI? During those initial months we each faced trials which brought us closer to God and prepared our hearts. When we first met up at the local coffee shop, a sense of calm belonging washed over each of us and ever since, we have called each other every day. As Josh was finishing his coffee, a thought was placed in his mind: "I'm going to marry this girl". Those autumn months were incredible as we fell in love. Truthfully, it felt as though our kindred souls had known each other for a long time already. But when I had to move back to Michigan to finish my degree, it was sometimes difficult to grow together as we wished. However, that reassurance never left our hearts and our intense dedication never waned as time passed. So on June 5th, 2021, the wait is finally over and I get to marry my best friend. He is a man who is constantly thoughtful, witty, and honest. He is the companion I always needed in my life and he's the one who would do anything for me including the countless long drives and constant support. I feel confident that with him by my side I can take on anything this life offers. After all, we have accomplished a feat that would make most couples crumble. Josh truly makes me a better woman.
