Finally!

These two met at a bonfire when Alexis was a junior in high school. Jessica was captivated by Alexis’ charm, humor, and wit. They shook hands and from that point on asked their friends about the other person, constantly... for months. Then they started talking on Twitter where Alexis asked for Jessica’s new phone number so that she could share her secret dessert recipe! The “dessert recipe” was a bust, luckily their love has been just the opposite. From the time they exchanged numbers they’ve talked every single day!

Alexis secretly picked up a ring in late August. When she whisked Jessica away for her birthday in late September to witness the beautiful fall foliage in the mountains Jessica was 80% sure she would be getting asked the big question! Alexis made it a point to say “I’m not proposing to you while we’re here.” She wasn’t lying! November 9th Jessica got dressed up, and ready to go to a Jazz Band concert for her youngest little sister, Ale. She was conned into believing Ale needed to talk to her before the concert so she took off with her on a classic Morgan County “country cruise”. When she returned Alexis informed her that she needed assistance recording a video for some internship applications so Alexis went behind the camera “trying to get an idea of where she should stand” suddenly, the song “I Choose You” by Sara Bareilles came on. Jess was puzzled at first but, quickly figured out what was happening when she saw the first members of their family walk out, each with their own hand-made letter, then three more, then Meekoh (their dog) with a question mark and well, you get the picture. Before she knew it, Jessica was holding back tears while Alexis was down on one knee telling her about how she knew that one day Jessica “would be a really cute old person”. With no hesitation, Jessica exclaimed yes!
