We're Getting Married!!!

Joe and I have known each other for about 6 or 7 years. After his divorce we started hanging out, just as friends, and built a great friendship. March 28th, 2020, I took a leap of faith to see if we had something special. Apparently we did!!! Best decision of my life!!!

Joe and I had taken a cruise out of Long Beach, CA to Catalina Island and Ensenada. We were on the ship watching one of the evening shows, when Joe excused himself to go to the restroom. He was gone quite a while. When he came back and the show finished, he steered me into the Jewelry store on the ship. Two of the associates were not all that subtle in trying to get my ring size. I kind of knew something was up. The next day we did a wine tour in Ensenada. When we returned to the ship, we got ready for dinner in the Steak House. While we had drinks, the manager of the jewelry store came into the restaurant with a gift bag and a bottle of champagne. She smiles at me and hands Joe the bag. He proceeds to put the bag on the floor and we opened the bottle of champagne. We are talking and Joe is asking me how I felt about more earrings (a few months ago he took me to Ruth Crist Steak House and gave me beautiful diamond earrings). While I loved my diamond earrings, I really didn't need another pair. He stood and said he needed to go to the restroom (really? again???) he then got down on one knee in front of the whole restaurant and asked me to marry him and presented me with a beautiful diamond ring! OMG, I was so excited and emotional, but I said YES!!!!
