Our paths crossed in the online world - he was in Michigan and I was in Pennsylvania. The first thing that I saw on his profile was that he had a relationship with Jesus. The first couple of conversations we clicked right away. We talked about the area among other things. Within two weeks, we had our first video call and we had exchanged numbers, but neither one of us had enough courage to use it. so we continued to message each other. Jesse started texting me and we began to have longer conversations and telephone calls about the finer things in life. Almost three months later, we decided to meet each other. We met at a pizza shop (that is now closed...lol) and took a stroll in a neighboring park. When we parted ways, I was not sure what to think. I definitely did not think he liked me. I still thought we were friends and was definitely anxious to see where it would go. In seeing each other once a month, we were engaged by December. It definitely feels like we have known each other a life time and cannot wait until we see each other everday!

We both met online at the beginning of March 2023. I remember when her profile came up, I found it interesting how her location was not far from where I grew up. The first message sent between us was from me to her on Saturday, March 4, 2023. I remember the date since it was my friend Tony's wedding. Both of us were looking for a Christian who was serious about their walk with Christ, and I could tell right away that she was very serious. As we chatted with each other through the online app and over the phone, we vibed so quickly, and it was evident that we really understood each other. Due to us being long distance, our first date did not occur until May 2023, but even from a distance, God granted us to build a strong friendship through our communication with each other. We knew that being long distance was going to be a challenge as far as seeing each other, but God be praised, we have seen each other face to face almost on a monthly basis since May 2023, and pretty soon, we will be seeing each other all the time!
