When should I RSVP by?

By Wednesday, September 1st. Of course, earlier is always welcome!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Old-school Sunday morning church attire would be appropriate. We hope you can be comfortable and festive at the same time!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

There is space for children to attend the ceremony at Southwood Baptist Church. We respectfully ask that if your child is making noise that would disrupt the ceremony (and video) that you take them out of the sanctuary. However, we regret that there is NOT room for children at the reception venue. Please make other arrangements for child care if you plan to attend the reception. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

Are masks required?

Answer

We respectfully ask that you follow CDC guidelines, which currently require masks indoors for everyone. We will not be able to social distance inside the venues, so this is especially important, as we have friends and family members who are immunocompromised and others who cannot get the vaccine due to allergies. We will have disposable masks available if you forget yours.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large, paved lot beside the church with plenty of parking spaces. At the reception downtown, there is a small paved lot behind the venue that connects to a larger, gravel overflow lot. Feel free to park in either lot, as street parking may not be possible.
