After exploring the world of dating apps, Rob and Kayla happened to both swipe right on Hinge in July 2022, leading to 3 years of love, sarcasm and some great stories in between. Their first date went off without a hitch - other than Kayla being 1 hour late (to the second date, too), but Rob kept pursuing anyways, even being the first man to ever ask to kiss Kayla (awww!). The butterflies grew over the next couple months, where Rob and Kayla said I Love You, Kayla announced she was going to marry Rob to his family, and they mutually agreed that they were meant to be. The next 3 years brought the cold, the hot, 3 moves (!), and funny laughs along the way. Finally, Rob proposed at his favorite movie festival on the iconic Bridge Street Bridge (It's A Wonderful Life in Seneca Falls, NY) on December 14, 2024. Kayla had surprised Rob with this trip for his 30th birthday and unbeknownst to Kayla, Rob had surprised her with a beautiful proposal that he had worked hard at planning since his 30th birthday party - 6 months earlier. Now, we are excited beyond words to become Mr. & Mrs. Boncardo and share this next adventure of life with all of you!
