Adam started planning the proposal in February of 2021. He was just waiting for the right time -- when he and Becca bought a house a house together. He bought a ring in April after he knew their house plans were happening. He had actually asked Becca's dad for "permission" back in January. A few days before the proposal, unknown to Becca, Adam gave her friend Jenn gift cards for a manicure/pedicure. Jenn asked Becca to come with her, saying her husband Chris had given her the gift cards just because. Becca was none the wiser and just enjoyed the day getting pampered! The night of the proposal, Adam and Becca went out to dinner to celebrate getting the keys to their new house! While out at dinner, Adam had their friends Chris and Jenn sneak over to the new house and set up a path of rose petals and candles leading to the kitchen. On the kitchen counter they laid out a bucket of champagne, a bouquet of roses, a card, and more candles. Right before Becca and Adam arrived at the house after dinner, Chris snuck back over to light all of the candles. After dinner, Adam and Becca swung by the house so they could check it out again (or that was the reason Adam gave Becca). Upon walking in the door, Becca saw all of the roses and candles leading toward the kitchen. Adam said some beautiful words, and proposed, and Becca said yes. A few tears were shed (by Adam) and then they called their families to celebrate!
