Pike Place Market
A famous market and a must-see in Seattle! Take a food tour and try the amazing mac and cheese at Beecher's (our favorite)! Or play tourist like AnnMarie loves to do, and go to the original Starbucks.
Chihuly Garden and Glass
A great museum to visit and is right next to the Space Needle, to check two things off your bucket list. We would recommend reserving a ticket in advance.
Kerry Park and Explore Historic Queen Anne Neighborhood
Take in the stunning view point of Seattle's downtown skyline, Mount Rainier, Space Needle and waterfront. If time allows, explore the historic and charming Queen Anne neighborhood, coffee shops and dining.
Walk, bike or run the Burke Gilman Trail
Explore any portion of the 27-mile long Burke Gilman Trail. Our favorite stops along the trail are: Burke Gilman Brewing, Gas Works Park and the University of Washington campus.
Take a Ferry Ride
Take a classic Seattle ferry to one of the amazing islands on the Puget Sound. The easiest day trip is to Bainbridge from downtown. Be sure to triple check the ferry schedule (we say triple check as AnnMarie has been known to mix up the sailing directions!)
Ballard Locks
See the iconic Ballard Locks, which link the Puget Sound with Lake Union and Lake Washington. The area also features a fish ladder and the Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Garden.
