The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, so we kindly ask guest to arrive by 3:30 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in. We want everyone to be relaxed and ready to enjoy the celebration from the very start!
Yes! Attire will be dressy garden-party. We kindly ask guests to wear semi-formal/formal attire with a whimsical twist. Think colorful & elegant dresses, floral prints, suits, and anything you would wear to a summer evening wedding. Just keep in mind: we will be outdoors, so plan for grass-friendly footwear! We ask you to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories, and creams. Need outfit ideas? June in Ridgefield is usually warm and sunny, with temps in the 70-80s. That said, its the Pacific Northwest, weather can sometimes be unpredictable! Layers and a light jacket never hurt just in case it cools down or rains!
Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. We will have a tent for the reception area in case of rain.
As much as we love your little ones, we are keeping our wedding to an adults only-celebration- with the exception of a few children from the bride and grooms immediate family. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us! If this will prevent you from attending, please reach out, we’ll do our best to help, especially if you’re traveling from out of town!
Your invitation will specify if you have a plus one. We love celebrating with all the special people in your life, but space is limited. We really appreciate your understanding!
