Bailey and Collin’s story began the way all great love stories do. Unexpectedly, and perfectly timed by God (with a little help from Bailey’s cousin, who deserves an honorary matchmaking award). They met their senior year through that cousin, who had gone to high school with Collin. From the start, Collin knew Bailey was something special. He pursued her from afar with quiet confidence and unwavering patience, always holding space for what could be. Though they stayed “just friends” for years, love was growing gently, and deeply in the background. Conversations became deeper, glances lasted a little longer, flirting became frequent, and slowly but surely, they both realized something bigger was unfolding. Even when they didn’t know it, God was already preparing their hearts for something far more beautiful than they could’ve imagined. In July of 2024, after months of friendship and a growing connection, they both realized this wasn’t just coincidence. This was something real. Intentional. Filled with purpose. Even though they were scared, scared to risk something so meaningful, they realized it was worth pursuing. What began as a friendship quietly bloomed into a love story rooted in faith, trust, and a mutual found humor. Then, on May 30, 2025, Collin proposed in a beautiful field, surrounded by nature and some of Bailey’s dearest friends. It was beautiful, joyful, and full of meaning. There were happy tears, joyful shouting, and the sweet certainty that this was the start of something holy and lasting. Their love is playful and steady, joyful and tender. A true reflection of God’s goodness and faithfulness. Every. Answered. Prayer. Every step of their journey has been shaped by His hand.
