and so the Adventure Begins...

The couple met at Aviana's father's retirement party, which was held at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ. Their parents were good friends for years, but Aviana and Dominick never crossed paths. Although at different tables and with different groups of people at the party, Dominick introduced himself to Aviana. The two immediately enjoyed each other's company, and went out on their first date only 9 days later! It is only natural the couple plans to celebrate their wedding in the same room they met!

While visiting the bride's family in Sicily, Italy, Dominick surprised Aviana with a beautiful proposal at Mondello Beach in Palermo, Sicily. The entire family was in on the surprise, and all helped make it a success. The proposal took place on the family's second day in Italy, which was a relief for Dominick! The rest of the vacation was a celebration of the future Mr. and Mrs!
