Is the ferry the only way to get to the island?

Answer

The ferry is the easiest and fastest way to travel to Block Island. You also have the option to fly from the Rhode Island airport.

Am I able to book just one night at the hotel?

Answer

If you are staying at the Spring House, you are able to book just one night (even if the front desk said there is a two night minimum). Please let us know and we will arrange it with the hotel. However, if staying at another hotel on the island, there might be a required nightly minimum.

What is the best way to get around the island?

Answer

Please note, Block Island does not have ubers. The best way to get around is by renting a bicycle or scooter, or calling a taxi. The front desk will have taxi numbers available.

I want to bring my car, is that possible?

Answer

Yes! Cars are allowed on the traditional ferry (1 hour long).

Will the wedding be outside or inside?

Answer

Please say a little prayer to the weather gods! Weather pending, both the ceremony and reception will be outside. Please pack a sweater and an umbrella just in case (fingers crossed, you will not need them).

Anything I should know before coming to the island?

Answer

Bring some cash! The island is very "old school". You might need cash for taxis, tipping, etc.
