Q & A

Q & A If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us! Ashley: 803-542-1199 Carson: 803-546-4910
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time! You can also text either of us to RSVP if you cannot do it online.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive the save the date or the invitation, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP before February 1st, 2026. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked as “not attending” due to our vendor’s cut off dates.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Carson or Ashley as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. Your invitation will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. We appreciate you understanding.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. This rule excludes a few little members of our immediate family. Your invitation will be made out to "The (Your Last Name) Family" if your children have been invited and "Mr. & Mrs." if only you and your significant other have been invited. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to enjoy a date night and we appreciate you making prior arrangements! If you need a babysitter, we know a few in the area that would love to watch your kiddos for our wedding. Let us know and we will pass along their information!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code will be a dressy casual/semi-formal attire. Consider a spring-appropriate, relaxed, yet refined look. Women could opt for flowy dresses, jumpsuits, or stylish separates, while men can wear dress pants, khakis, or even jeans with a collared shirt, potentially a blazer or sport coat. The ceremony will be outdoors and it will be spring in the south, so dress accordingly! Please reserve hues of green for the wedding party and refrain from wearing white or shades of white - let the bride have her day!

Question

What time is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Cocktails, dinner and dancing will follow.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony will start at 4:30PM so please give yourself enough time to find a parking spot and have time to walk to the ceremony area to find a seat.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have select beer & wine. The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Get ready to celebrate.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items to update our current home with and we have a honeymoon fund set up. Our registry can be found on here under the registry tab.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony area is outdoors, so I recommend a strappy sandal, short block heels or your cowgirl boots! Something comfortable to wear in a grassy area with gravel around.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Although, we can't predict the weather, temperatures in South Carolina in March can vary from the 40's to the 60's.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

On the travel tab listed above, I have linked multiple hotels and rentals around the area! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact either of us about this.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking and there will be signs and people to show you where to park at. The venue allows you to leave your car overnight if needing to get an uber or ride, just make sure it is picked up by 12:00PM the next day!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After we say "I do," the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area, where we will be serving beverages during a cocktail hour.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end at 11:00PM.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception? If so, what kind of food?

Answer

We will be catering food. We will have 2 meat entrees: Chicken and Beef Tips. We will have 4 sides: Macaroni & Cheese, French Fries, Green Beans, and White Rice with Gravy. There will be hushpuppies served with the meal as well.
