Coronavirus Precautions & Vaccine Requirements

The health and safety of our family and friends is our top priority. Therefore, we will be following the City of Boston's COVID-19 guidelines and protocols in asking all of our guests to come fully vaccinated. Starting on January 15, 2022, the City of Boston is instituting a vaccine mandate requiring individuals to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to enter certain indoor spaces. To comply with the City of Boston, and to protect ourselves and our loved ones, our guests (over the age of 5) must be vaccinated in order to attend our event.

Cocktail Attire! Cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, jackets and slacks.

Parking at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! You are free to park within Mount Auburn Cemetery. You are welcome to park on any road with a yellow line.

Question

There are two chapels at Mount Auburn Cemetery! Which one?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at the Story Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. This is the chapel closest to the entrance of Mt. Auburn Cemetery (when you enter the cemetery, it will be to your immediate left). It is an English-style cathedral with reddish brown sandstone bricks. https://mountauburn.org/story-chapel/

I’m taking an Uber/Lyft to the ceremony at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Where should I go?

Answer

Have your driver drop you off at the address for Mt. Auburn Cemetery: 580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA 02138. Once you enter the gates, walk toward the large grey Gothic chapel in the distance (not the chapel to your immediate left). There is a pretty garden / fountain area beneath the ceremony chapel. Look for a series of large glass windows. Enter any door.

Parking at the reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking available, only a short walk from the Charles River Museum. The Cooper Street / Embassy Parking Facility is located on the southern bank of the Charles River. It is accessible at the end of Cooper St., just off Pine Street, which is a cross street of Moody. The address is: 42 Cooper Street, Waltham, MA, 02453. Once you park, you will walk across a small brown bridge (the Charles River), then take a right. Look for the tall smokestack.

I’m taking an Uber/Lyft to the reception at the Charles River Museum. Where should I go?

Answer

If you are taking an Uber or Lyft to the Charles River Museum, we recommend that you put in as your destination: Embassy Public Parking Lot, Cooper St., Waltham, MA, 02453. Then, just a short walk across a small wooden bridge (the Charles River), and the museum will be to your right. Look for the tall smokestack.

Transportation: Westin Hotel to Ceremony

Answer

On the day of the wedding, we will be offering transportation from the Westin Hotel in Waltham to Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, where our ceremony will be held. We have two buses, each of which can transport 37 people. One bus will arrive to the hotel at 2:15 p.m.; the other will arrive at 2:30. The ride from the Westin Hotel in Waltham to Mt. Auburn Cemetery will last approximately 30 minutes.

We are offering two buses to transport guests from the ceremony at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA to the reception at the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation in Waltham, MA. Each bus is able to accommodate 37 people. Departure time TBA.

Transportation: Reception to Westin Hotel

Answer

At the reception, we will have one bus that will be going back and forth between the reception at the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation in Waltham, MA, and the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA. The bus can accommodate 37 people, but it will be making multiple trips. First trip departure time TBA.
