Wedding Party

Madeleine Tucker

Maid of Honor

Madeleine is the little sister and best friend of the bride. While Natalie was always trying to keep up with her brothers, Madeleine was off playing by herself minding her own business. Madeleine’s free spirit led her to Santa Barbara to college where Natalie got to visit often. After Madeleine graduated she attended Natalie’s work anniversary party where the love story began. Madeleine has since moved to Atlanta to work in logistics but visits California often. During her visits back Madeleine considers herself the third wheel of the couple and regularly posts snap chats of her third wheel life with Anthony and Natalie. If you’re lucky you can catch it on the wedding night :)

Maxi Jones

Bridesmaid

Maxi and Natalie met Natalie’s sophomore year of college through bridesmaid Ally. After Natalie returned from a semester abroad in England, she lived with Maxi and Ally. The first night Natalie lived with Maxi and Ally, they welcomed her by setting the heater on high and going to bed (Natalie hates the heat). Unfortunately, Natalie couldn’t find the thermostat and later discovered it was in their room. Thankfully, she survived and went on to room with Maxi again her senior year. During Maxi’s senior year, Natalie and her brother Warren visited her in Prague and traveled to Paris with Maxi where she spoke French for them. Now Maxi is in Medical School and can be found in LA hospitals completing her rotations. Natalie and Maxi still find time to catch up often.

Ally Ruggles

Bridesmaid

Natalie met Ally during her sophomore year of college. The two were on student government and put on the same planning committee. They could often be found talking and laughing. Natalie often joked that Ally kept Nordstrom in business as every time she asked her where she got something it was always from Nordstrom. :) Natalie and Ally also lived together when Natalie returned from her semester abroad. Since Natalie and Ally became friends Ally has always kept in contact with Natalie and regularly calls her to say hi and to get a quick update. Ally now lives in Chicago where she moved after college to do Teacher For America. Ally fell in love with Chicago and sadly hasn’t returned to California but continues to make yearly trips to visit.

Natalie Marzolo

Groomswoman

Natalie is Anthony's older sister. Yes, she has the same name as his soon to be wife. When they were growing up, Anthony always tagged along with his sister to her best friend Katie's house where they watched Grease and played dress up. As they got older, they fought as all brothers and sisters do and competed to see who got better grades. Natalie then left for college and attended U.C. Davis to pursuit her degree. Three years later, Anthony followed her there for his freshman year of college and Natalie did her best to take care of him and help him acclimate to the big campus. They have been close ever since. Natalie decided to move to So Cal after realizing the Bakersfield summers were not for her and now lives in Mission Viejo with her husband Ramone and their five kids.

Brooklyn Tucker

Flower Girl

Brooklyn is Natalie's niece. She’s in the second grade in Healdsburg and loves unicorns and playing with her friends. She can often be found dancing around and posing for the camera. Brooklyn is fearless and loves jumping on the trampoline at Omie and Jedos and practicing her gymnastics. When she’s not busy with school and gymnastics, she enjoys bossing her brother around. Auntie NoNo and Brooklyn frequently FaceTime and iMessage each other Bitmojis. When the two FaceTime, Brooklyn’s first question is always “Where is Anthony?” :)

Annabelle Marzolo

Flower Girl

Annabelle is Anthony's 8 year old niece. She lives in Mission Viejo and is now in second grade. She is one of the most well-liked kids in her class because she is smart and well-behaved. Some of her favorite things to do are going to the mountains, tumbling, playing fortnite, and tormenting her younger brothers. Annabelle also enjoys playing cards and board games against her "tio" and shares his distaste of losing in any activity.

Braden Tucker

Ring Bearer

Braden is Natalie's nephew. He is in the fifth grade in Fairfield, CA. He loves baseball and his teams, the SF Giants and Cleveland Indians. Although lately he doesn’t have much time for watching baseball as he’s busy playing Fort Nite online with his friends, earning badges in Cub Scouts, running around the track after school with running club, or playing trumpet in the school band. Even with his busy schedule, Braden still finds time to come to his Omie and Jedo’s and hang out with his Auntie NoNo. The two enjoy eating ice cream together, playing Moo Moo Farms on the Nintendo 64, and playing baseball in the front yard until Braden beats Auntie NoNo so much she has to retire.

Sam Betty

Best Man

Sam and Anthony have been friends dating back to 1st grade when they both attended St. Francis. The two remained close through their love of sports and competing against each other in almost everything with both refusing to accept defeat. In high school, they were regulars at each others houses, spending many hours playing basketball and video games. Every time Sam would come over (which he still does to this day), Sam goes straight for the pantry in search of Cheez-Its, their favorite snack. After college, Sam played basketball in Germany for a year and then moved up to the bay area where he has learned to enjoy nature, hiking, and mushroom hunting. Sam now lives in Sebastopol with his wife Erin and is 1st grade teacher.

Chris White

Groomsman

Chris and Anthony have been friends since 4th grade when Chris's parents made the right decision and transferred him from OLPH to St. Francis. Chris was always destined to become a star football player and began to learn his skills playing flag football at St. Francis. Although he was an offensive lineman, he did his best not to block so Anthony would have to run for his life and eventually throw him the ball. Chris took his football talents to Cal Poly where he played four years. After college, he continued pursuing his football dreams and along the way, continued to further his education of kinesiology and sports training. Chris lives in Louisiana with his wife Kim and baby Keira Ann where he is now a strength and conditioning coach at LSU.

Steve Mayberry

Groomsman

Big Steve and Anthony have been friends since 7th grade when they met at a basketball tournament in Oxnard. The only memorable part of the tournament was Big Steve dancing at a party for a Big-Mac. They later attended Garces together where Steve was Anthony's bodyguard if anyone tried to mess with Anthony or his friends. After college, Steve and Anthony were roommates for over 4 years where they became even closer friends after spending time eating pizza and Chinese buffets, watching sports and occasionally heading downtown to the local watering holes. On one of those normally uneventful trips downtown, Steve re-met his now wife Brit. Steve and Brit recently had a daughter P.K. and Steve is now keeping the streets of Bakersfield a safer place.

Daniel Marzolo

Ring Bearer

Daniel is Anthony's 5-year old nephew. He's alway happy, full of life, and sweet. Daniel knows no strangers and wants to be friends with everyone and make them laugh.. He loves to dance and play make believe. He has a great imagination and is the slapjacks champion. Now anytime Daniel sees his tio, the first question he asks is where's Natalie. I guess he has found a new favorite.

David Marzolo

Ring Bearer

David is Anthony's youngest nephew at 3 years old. He is shy at first, but full of personality and is always trying to keep up with his older siblings. He loves to have fun at the playground and shows no fear going down the big kid slides. His likes anything green and his favorite shows to watch are P.J. Masks and Scooby Doo. David enjoys trying to beat up tio and playing monster where tio chases him around the house.

Marvin Anadilla

Best Man

Marvin and Anthony have known each other since Kindergarten. Marvin shares Anthony's love of basketball and was the point guard on the St. Francis basketball team. Marvin also excelled in the classroom which always pushed Anthony to get better grades. Anthony has been close with Marvin and his family for most of his life and Anthony still enjoys being invited over for Easter Sunday to eat the Anadilla's famous lumpia. Although Marvin is now a successful analyst (not sure exactly what he does, but something really smart), they have continued to remain friends. Marvin moved to Lake Tahoe after college for a few years where he met his wife Morgan. They now reside in the big Apple with their baby daughter Morrow and Anthony has visited them a few times to get a taste of the big city life.

Zach Ryan

Groomsman

Zach and Anthony have been friends since their junior year in high school at Garces. Anthony was skeptical at first and wasn't sure what to expect from Zach. However, Zach's fun loving and carefree attitude made it easy to be friends with him. Zach and Anthony bonded over pool, darts, bbqs and swimming when they weren't playing basketball. At Fresno City college the two were roommates and Zach loved to keep Anthony up all night playing games, watching Friends and Seinfeld, and listening to country music. Zach went on to live in Siberia (North Dakota) for two years competing in track and field. Once he came back to Bakersfield, they became roommates again prior to Zach moving to the bay area. Zach is now living in Sacramento with his wife Kristine and two dogs.

Annika Weber

Bridesmaid

Annika and Natalie met freshman year of college through mutual friends. It wasn’t until sophomore year that Annika and Natalie formed a close friendship. On weekends Natalie, Annika, and Jessica could be found together having dinner and out at one of the few Thousand Oaks hangouts or at our favorite place (the treehouse). After college Annika went to Spain for two years. During her first year in Spain, Natalie and Annika met up with Maxi in Paris. Annika is now working at a University in Colorado. Even with Annika traveling the world, Natalie and Annika do their best to keep in contact.

Jessica Peurifoy

Bridesmaid

Jessica and Natalie met their freshman year of college through Jessica’s roommate. Sophomore year Natalie and Jessica lived together and could often be spotted at Baja Fresh and Subway. Junior year the two studied abroad and spent the year apart. Senior year Natalie, Jessica, Maxi, and Annika lived together. Natalie, Jessica, and Maxi cruised around campus on matching bikes. After college Natalie and Jessica did their best to keep in contact and meet up in Thousand Oaks or Laguna Beach. Jessica is now a teacher in Davis and completing her Masters.

Warren Tucker

Bridesman

Warren is Natalie’s older brother. Most of their childhood the two were about the same size which meant Natalie was Warren’s wrestling dummy. Because of this, the two were not allowed to sit next to each other as they were often antagonizing each other. However, after growing up the two became close. Natalie and Warren have traveled to multiple countries together including England, Italy, Vatican City, Czech Republic, France, & Monaco. Warren now lives in Reno and works in the Gulf of Mexico on an oil rig. Warren and Natalie keep in contact through Snapchat and Facebook while he’s on the ship and try to get together when they can.

Grant Tucker

Bridesman

Grant is Natalie’s oldest brother. Grant is the one who all the rules were set after. Natalie often followed her oldest brother around trying to be like him instead being the annoying little sister. During summers, Grant worked as a lifeguard at the Madera High pool. Lucky for Natalie because she got to spend lots of summer days at the pool swimming and diving. After Grant turned 21 he moved up near San Francisco. With a cool place to stay, Natalie visited him and his two kids when she could. Grant now lives in Fairfield and works installing commercial fire sprinklers. Even with work and his kids’ busy schedules, the two still get together at their parents regularly.

Alex Hansen

Groomsman

Anthony and Alex became friends in college during Anthony's sophomore year at Fresno City College and were part of the junior college state championship basketball team together. They bonded over hours of playing Halo and many hours in the gym practicing. Anthony and Alex continued to stay in touch after Fresno City and would hang out whenever Anthony was passing through Fresno. One of the times Anthony visited, they went out to Old Town in Clovis and Alex ended up meeting his wife, Cortni. Now, Anthony and Alex play in a basketball tournament every April at Sierra High School where they continue to pile up the championship trophies. Alex lives in Fresno with Cortni and works as a farmer in Madera.
