To get to the picnic area, you will enter the park on Tum Tumay Whueton Dr, which is a LEFT off of Bodwell Bay Rd. (see image). On the way, you will drive straight past an entrance to White Pine Beach. Although this is part of Belcarra park, this is NOT the entrance to our site. Continue on the road until you can turn left onto Tum Tumay Whueton Dr. See link for directions!
Continue on the long winding road of Tum Tumay Whueton Dr until you reach Belcarra Picnic Area (Ceremony Venue). There are a few parking lots, but continue on until the parking lot at the end of the road (right beside the picnic area).
From Picnic Venue back to Old Orchard Hall (where the ceremony was): - Head southwest on Tum Tumay Whueton Drtoward Springboard Trail (3.9 km) - Turn right onto Bedwell Bay Rd (1.7 km) - Continue onto 1st Ave (700 m) - Turn left onto Ioco Rd (2.5 km) - Turn right onto Bentley Rd (if coming from Cermony Venue)
If you want to journey outside of Port Moody, Stanley Park is a must see for a trip to Vancouver! It has the world's longest uninterrupted waterfront path. The 28 km Seaside Greenway is an uninterrupted pathway, including the Stanley Park Seawall, that extends from the Vancouver Convention Centre to Spanish Banks Park. Perfect for a walk, cycle, or jog, it is the most popular recreational spot in the city. Bike the entire wall or visit the link for places of interest - such as the beaches!
If you are exploring Vancouver, we recommend a stop at Granville Island! You can drive onto the island, or take a little walk-on water taxi from various places on the seawall. It has a variety of places to eat, boutiques, live entertainment, and activities. Some of our favorite places on Granville Island the Public Market, the Improv Theatre and Ecomarine Kayak Rental shop.
