Marci is the MOH and bride's sister! She currently lives in the same town where the groom grew up and is married to a family friends of the groom - talk about coincidence! In her free time Marci is an accomplished distance runner, a delightful baker, and pup mom to the golden doodle Hank!
Bridesmaid
Jordan is the bride's bonus sister! She is an accomplished scientist who earned her Doctorate from the University at Buffalo and now works at UC Irvine. In addition to her scholarly activities she is an avid Peloton user and rarely misses a day to workout!
Bridesmaid
Sydney is one of the bride's best friends from high school in Fairport, NY. Despite both traveling all across the country to complete schooling and fulfill their dreams they've remained fast friends. Sydney is now married with two children and works as a nurse anesthetist.
Bridesmaid
Becca is one of the bride's best friends from undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University. They met the day before classes started in true nerd fashion when mapping out where their classes were in order to be prepared for the first day of school. Turns out, they both signed up for advanced math which also helped both realize they didn't want to take any more math classes. Luckily, their friendship blossomed during study sessions and study breaks.
Bridesmaid
Cass is one of the bride's best friends from medical school in Pennsylvania. They met at The Pour House during wing night and quickly went on to have many more adventures. Most recently they explored Moab, Utah by hiking the trails, rappelling hundreds of feet down gorges, and four wheeling through Hell's Revenge.
Bridesmaid
Ashley is one of the bride's best friends from medical school. When the two met they shared the same initials and quickly became friends after realizing they had compatible study strategies. Ashley loves exploring new places with her husband and dog. She always has the best recommendations for restaurants, breweries, and wineries in every city.
Bridesmaid
Varsha is one of the bride's best friends from her residency training. From the first day they met they shared a mutual love for yoga, healthy-ish food, and dancing like no one is watching. Through all of the ups and downs of medical training and work they've had each other's backs and sides.
Best Man
The groom met Russell back in the first grade. Never has he known someone to carry such a presence with so little words, but speak he will once you get him going! It's difficult to think of anything Russell cannot do, but you will only ever know unless you ask or sit back and watch him be himself, usually with your jaw agape. He is an incredibly talented individual, and an equally amazing friend.
Officiant
Reed is the groom's older brother. Despite being about four years apart, they were constantly being confused for one another. While this is more likely due to their appearance, the groom will be the first to say he did his absolute best to emulate Reed seeing as he is one of the finest role models a person could have. The groom owes so much of who he is to Reed and cannot be anymore proud of where it has led him.
Groomsman
Nathan is the groom's oldest brother. The first time the bride heard the two of them speaking over the phone, she was shocked in the similarity between voice and mannerism. This didn't come as much a surprise. In fact, as kids they would share the same keyboard to play the same video-game... at the same time. They even attended the same college. The groom is proud to have walked a similar path.
Groomsman
Jerry is the bride's brother, and the groom's one true fear. The bride, of course, fears nothing and no one.
Groomsman
Collin is a fellow NEPA baby who has known the groom for many moons due to their shared interest in skiing at Elk Mountain. Coincidentally, Collin is also married to the bride's sister!
Groomsman
Matt had the uncanny ability to become the groom's best friend the moment they first met on a youth soccer team. This was a complicated scenario as it would be several years until they finally started sharing the same school and classes. However, the two always snapped together like magnets when the situation aligned, and it was a huge relief when high school finally came, bringing with it more freedom and perhaps too many shenanigans.
Groomsman
Mike was the groom's roommate starting the sophomore year of college until graduation. That same year the groom was diagnosed and treated for cancer. Mike was there with him every step of the way and beyond. "His poise is innate and unconditional. Never could I have found a brighter light in the darkest of places. This light is now rivaled only by one, and that, too, is unconditional."
Groomsman
Michael is the groom's closest Boston friend. They met at a local rock climbing gym shortly after both of them moved here. As usual, the groom was struggling on the bouldering routes (short, technical climbs that don't require ropes), and Michael was gracious enough to invite him to join his small group. It's funny how one can meet so many people at a climbing gym, but sometimes it just clicks and a true friendship is born.
