Train

The Boston T & Commuter Rail

I have used the T to get around Boston and Brookline. The most useful lines in Cambridge are the Red and Green ones. However, the T moves slowly and has a limited area it services. The commuter rail can be a quick and convenient way to get into and out of the city without needing a car. It is also very easy to call a car using Uber or Lyft.
