After the ceremony concludes please enjoy more appetizers and drinks as you explore the museum before dinner.
Yes, there is complementary parking available. The venue is requesting advance notice so please let us know if you plan to drive yourself to ensure the smoothest process when arriving to the ceremony.
Yes we do! There is a block set aside for our guests at Le Meridien Boston Cambridge Hotel with a discounted rate that is available on both Friday September 13th and Saturday September 14th. Under the travel tab there is a link that will allow you to book directly or you can call the hotel directly to book. It is important to book your room AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, and BEFORE AUGUST 14, 2024 in order to receive the discounted rate.
Unfortunately no, due to restrictions from the museum that mandate no dancing occurs in order to protect the museum exhibits.
The newlyweds are planning to have a nightcap at Le Meridien after the ceremony in the hotel bar area so that all guests (even those with young children) can attend. After that, we plan to hit the night scene in Harvard Square!
Ride share: Ride share apps like Uber and Lyft are available and super easy to use! Rides around town often vary in price from $15-$40 depending on the distance you want to travel and the time of day the ride is requested. Subway: Another option depending on where you want to go is using "the T" or the train system. The different rail lines are named by color (red, green, orange, blue, and silver). The Apps "Boston T Map," "Boston T," and "Mapway" are all useful for planning trips on the T. A one trip ticket costs $2.40. Find a link to the MBTA website under the Travel tab. Blue bikes: BlueBikes are also available throughout the city and can be used with the "Bluebikes" app. A 30 minute ride costs $2.95 while a 24 hour day pass costs $10. Walking: Depending on how far you're going walking is also a great option! Boston is incredibly pedestrian friendly with lots of sidewalks and clearly marked crosswalks. If you're able to tolerate the occasional horn honking then walking is for you!
There are so many things to do! We've highlighted some tourist options as well as our favorite restaurants in the Cambridge, Brookline, and Boston area under the "Things to Do" tab. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
