Flight
Flying will be the most expensive part of the trip. If you are close to ATL, JFK or YYZ (Toronto) you may be able to take a cheaper direct flight. Otherwise, expect a layover. If the ticket price is under $1000, that's a decent deal, go for it! Try to fly into Santiago by Friday morning (3/6) so that you have enough time to take a bus or drive to Constituctión and spend the night before nearby! We'll hang out and have a dinner the night before. If you want to come significantly before then, we'll have a page on this site with suggestions for things to do.
Train
There are multiple buses a day. The trip takes about 4 hours and 45 minutes, and costs under $15 for standard tour bus. Fancier buses may be available, but aren't as frequent.
House Or Rental
Anyone is free to camp on the farm. There’s some grassy zones on the farm house farm, but there’s also vast fields of dryer stuff that would be very secluded. You’ll definitely want a tent and sleeping situation, but it’s not extreme camping by any means. Also, camping is very easy and fun throughout Chile in general, so this is a good option if you wanna save some money and plan bring camping gear anyway. Since you’ll be on the farm you won’t have to worry about transportation during the party days.
House Or Rental
Chile has a hearty tourist culture, and as a result there are hostels/cabins called “Cabanas” just about anywhere. There’s a wide range of prices, amenities, and size. There are some near the farm in a little town called Junquillar. These are most on the hostel end of things, but are only 3.3km, about 2 miles from the farm. You can find them on Airbnb by hovering over Junquillar.
Rental Car
Anyone that can rent a car in the ol' US of A can rent a car in Chile. It costs about the same, anywhere from $20/day to $50/day plus fees for an economy or standard car. You can pay more for a big SUV if you wanna do any off-roading. This might be a good option if you wanna do exploring on your own, but keep in mind gas is a little more expensive in Chile (hovering around $4.50 to $5.00 per gallon). There are highway tolls, but apparently your rental car agency will likely charge you an extra $5 to cover that.
House Or Rental
Fancy Cabanas or nice Airbnb's are available nearby. It'll be easier to get to and from the farmhouse if you have a rental car, but we'll have a shuttle setup too. You may have to ride in the back of a pickup truck if you're under the age of 40.
