ANNAMARIE: We met in a directing actors class at Columbia and he was the professor's fav because he had acting experience. It was annoying. He knows more quotes from "The Office" than I do but I would never tell him that to his face. Our first date was at a "gourmet chicken and waffle" place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We're very trendy. Sometimes we have in-depth discussions about coffee roaster's font choices. He plays air guitar when he listens to post-rock music and I'm worried he takes it very seriously. / / / / / JOSHUA The first time I knew I really liked her was when I saw her discreetly sewing a button onto her coat in the middle of directing actor's class. Our road trips consist of me driving, and Annamarie either sleeping or asking if it's okay if she falls asleep.  She says she likes beer, but she's only ever ordered stouts, and thinks IPAs taste like "dish soap." We both have a hard time deciding who’s allowed to be anxious and when.  Whenever she spontaneously does ballet in the living room she glances over to see if I've noticed. Sometimes I pretend I didn't see, so as to not feed her ego.
