A HOSPITAL LOVE STORY

Anna was an intern in Emergency Medicine, Merije was a 3rd year Internal Medicine resident. They were both involved with other people at the time, but Merije kept an eye out for Anna after they were introduced at LA County Hospital's illustrious dining venue. Via a few mutual friends in a Black Docs Happy Hour group, they eventually got to hang out and get to know each other platonically. Needless to say, they clicked, and when each respective relationship *somehow* faded into the distance, all they could see was one another.

Ah, the age-old tale of boy meets girl-->boy and girl fall in love and plan to get married-->global pandemic hits and changes plans. Luckily, both Merije and Anna made it through LA's surge with their health and love intact. Lockdowns and regulations made scheduling nearly impossible, however, so the couple has decided to proceed with an extremely intimate wedding on June 19th, with the sincere hope of having a larger celebration with their village at some point in 2022.
