Although we both were cadets at the Air Force Academy, we had never met until the summer before our Junior year. While waiting to board the plane at the Denver airport for a summer language immersion program, we both pulled out the same book, sparking conversation. We quickly discovered that we would be sitting next to each other during the 8+ hour flight overseas. Talking the entire duration of the flight, we were excited to then discover that our host families in Aix-en-Provence, France happened to be right next to one another! Meeting up every day before language class, we then walked through the beautiful Parc de la Torse on our way to school, growing in friendship and continuing to get to know each other. After our immersion, we started dating that Fall at the Air Force Academy. Fortunately, we were both selected to study abroad at the French Air Force Academy in Salon-de-Provence, France the following year. During our exchange, we had the pleasure to return to Aix-en-Provence several times to visit the place where we fell in love: a special place in both our hearts. On the 10th of December at the sentimental Parc de la Torse, Jeremy proposed! We are so excited to share God's blessing in our life with you and celebrate our marriage.
Upon graduation and our wedding, we will be taking full advantage of our "60 Days", given to us by the Air Force Academy. Anna will be moving to Strasbourg, France to further her education and pursue a Master's Degree in International Relations. After this two year curriculum, she will move stateside, and start her job in the Air Force. Jeremy will be moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico to start the Combat Rescue Officer training pipeline, which lasts roughly two years. If all goes to plan, we will be done with training and have the opportunity to move in together for the first time about 2 years into our marriage.
