Maid of Honor
Phoebe and I met on Bumble BFF in 2020 and she is the first friend I made in my move to Sacramento. We connected so instantly, our first conversation was even about planning when to hang out. Phoebe is passionate, organized, intuitive, dedicated, easy-going, and caring. Whether it is staying in and eating sushi or dressing up and going out shopping, I can always count on Phoebe for a fun time.
Maid of Honor
Erin and I met in high school through Theatre in 2011. Erin is one of the most fiercely loyal friends I have ever had. She is charismatic, hilarious, protective, driven, and loving. I can always count on Erin when I need a shoulder to cry on. We have been through so much together! Whenever I need backup, Erin is one of my go-to gals.
Bridesmaid
Danyelle and I were in the same cohort studying Special Education at Arizona State University in 2017. We ended up spending our senior year co-teaching together in a K-3 Self-Contained Special Education Classroom. We have enjoyed many laughs together- from staring at pictures of lasagna during lecture to scream singing at Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift Concerts. Danyelle brings out the best in everyone! When I'm in need of a belly laugh, I can always count on Danyelle.
Bridesmaid
Shelby and I met through a mutual friend in 2018. One of the first times we hung out, she helped me with a fun photoshoot as Princess Elsa. Shelby is genuine, compassionate, loving, quick to listen, and dependable. From from debating which Taylor Swift song is best, daydreaming of wedding plans, sharing our love of Disney, or obsessing over home decor, Shelby is a friend I can trust with anything and I am so thankful for her.
Bridesmaid
Jessie and I met through Jamie- she is his older sister. Jessie is incredibly intelligent, honest, thoughtful, and caring. Jamie and I love our visits to Seattle when we get to spend time with Jessie. I enjoy our time thrift shopping, deep conversations, playing board games, and wine tasting. (Plus, she makes an amazing cocktail!) Jessie and I have connected over the fact that we are both the eldest sibling of our families. I am grateful I can call her my future sister-in-law!
Bridesmaid
Marissa and I met in my first teaching job out of college in 2019. We would enjoy morning coffee together, read bible verses, laugh about all the drama that comes with teaching, and shop. She was one of the first people to help me decide if I should move to California with Jamie and her words of wisdom helped me make up my mind. Whenever I come to visit, I can always count on Marissa to be one of the first to make plans for quality time. Marissa is loyal, intelligent, punctual, motivated, driven, compassionate, and always has the best laugh in the room.
Bridesmaid
I met sweet Miss Kaylie in 2014 when her and my younger brother, Justin began to date. I immediately saw the fire and spark she brought into not just my brother's, but our family's lives. Kaylie is courageous, persistent, dedicated, driven, loving, and kind. I have watched her and Justin grow over the seven beautiful years they have been together and I can say with confidence that they both found their soulmates. Justin and Kaylie are also engaged! I am so excited to call Kaylie my future sister-in-law.
Bridesmaid
I have known Nikki since she was born. Nikki is the 3rd oldest cousin in the family. Nikki, Justin, and I were nearly inseparable growing up and I am so grateful for the friendship we have. Nikki is studying to be a nurse and is going to college. Nikki is determined, motivated, generous, inquisitive, genuine, loving, and caring. She always puts family first and is someone I can always rely on.
Best Man
Josh & I met in 2018 at Intel in Folsom, CA when I saw him carrying his motorcycle helmet at a happy hour. He is technically-minded, thorough & adventurous, bringing these strengths to everything he does—from working on cars to camping trips with his girlfriend Pauline and barbecuing for our entire group of friends. Since knowing Josh, I haven't once heard him turn down an offer to go somewhere. He recently acquired a project car (a first-gen Miata, which makes me happy) and has spent countless hours restoring & upgrading it over the past 6 months.
Groomsman
Cody and I met in 2018 at a friend's party while studying at ASU. Almost immediately, we discovered a mutual love for EDM that has made us inseparable ever since. The pursuit of music has driven us to countless shows in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and soon San Francisco and Denver, where he currently resides. Cody has a passion for DJing & everything Odesza; one of his mixes has almost 700K views on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X13iO0MHxss
Groomsman
Chris and I met in 2015 as roommates in Phoenix. It was the first time either of us had lived away from family & we found an irresponsible amount of freedom in our situation—giant pool floaties, BB guns, and absinthe come to mind (though NOT all at once). He still lives in Phoenix where he's finishing up an Electrical Engineering degree at ASU. Though we haven't gotten to see much of each other the past few years, Chris remains of the most persistent, resilient, adaptable, and loyal people I've had the pleasure of knowing.
Groomsman
Trey and I met in 2010 at Inglemoor High School and became best friends a year after graduation when he moved just a couple minutes away from me. Trey, to whom playing host comes naturally, let us make his home the centerpiece for all of our friends’ hangouts, spending countless hours playing video games, grilling, and chilling. I probably spent more time at his house than my own while he lived there. Trey currently lives with his fiancée, Ashlee, and dog, Mosley, in Lynnwood, WA.
Groomsman
Liam and I met in 2006 at church camp before 7th grade, where we discovered we'd be going to the same middle school. Liam's charm comes from his fearless spontaneity—there isn't a single plan he'd be better off making. Because of this, it's not uncommon to find him in a tree or off making new friends. Despite his uncalculated methods of adventuring, he’s now pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics from UC Boulder.
Groomsman
Andrew and I met in 7th grade, playing bass and drums, respectively, in the worship band at church. Our bible study knows Andrew as the one who always realized he had to shower five minutes before we left for youth group. The rest of you will know Andrew as a total creative who can hold a conversation with anyone and has the loudest laugh in the room. He just moved to San Francisco where he’s an Industrial Designer for Johnson & Johnson.
Groomsman
Thomas and I have been friends from birth—our moms attended the New Moms group at church while we were still buns in the oven. Though many of you may not know, Thomas was the reason I decided to study in Edinburgh, Scotland after we graduated from high school. He spent a gap year as a youth intern at our sister church in Banchory, just a short bus ride from me, and I'm happy to say I got a chance to share a beer with him while we were there. Thomas has always been uncommonly kind and can always be counted on for dry humor. He and his new wife, Chloe, currently live in Bellingham, WA.
Groomsman
Justin is brother of the bride, future husband, and all-around life of the party, but most importantly he’s one of my esteemed groomsmen. He and I have uncovered an uncommon amount of common interests in the limited time I’ve known him—from cars & bikes to Captain Morgan & annoying Angel. Justin is one of the people I’m most looking forward to getting to know from the Scott half of the family.
Usher
Lorenzo and I met in high school theatre. He is always someone I can count on for a good laugh. Lorenzo also understands the struggles of being a young teacher- I love our Snapchats about funny teacher stories. Lorenzo is outgoing, personable, hilarious, and kind. I am grateful to have his radiant personality spread light during our big day!
Usher
Aiden is the life of the party. Aiden is warm, welcoming, and personable. When Angel first met the family, he immediately struck up conversation with her and made her feel welcome in the family (As all the Cannon/Hamiltons have). We are so grateful to have him as our usher in our ceremony to welcome our friends and family how Aiden knows best.
Usher
Thea is kind, personable, outgoing, welcoming, and kind. During each family event, Thea pops around the room and checks in on and makes conversation with each person. When Angel first met the family, Thea was immediately by her side to welcome her to the family. We are excited to have Thea as an usher to welcome our beloved guests!
Flower Girl
Sweet Miss Brooke is one of my cousins. She is bubbly, inquisitive, and adventurous. I am looking forward to seeing her sweet smile down the aisle as our flower girl!
Ring Bearer
Mister Gabriel is also one of my cousins. Gabriel is gentle, sweet, and caring. I am excited to see him in his little suit with as our ring bearer during our celebration!
