Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests come in cocktail or formal attire. For the ladies, this could be an any-length dress, jumpsuit, or fancy separates. Men are encouraged to wear a lightweight suit or a button-down shirt with nice pants. Please avoid blue jeans and colors typically reserved for the bride like white, cream, or ivory. Our ceremony and reception will be held indoors, however, please keep in mind that the weather in the Midwest is so-so, especially in May. It is best to bring a jacket or sweater, in case you get cold, and possibly an umbrella to walk to and from your vehicle. We would also like to add, that if any Star Wars fans would like to dress the part, they are more than welcome. In fact, we encourage it!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to capacity restrictions, we ask that you refrain from bringing any additional guests that are not listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

While we love the little ones in our lives, our wedding will be an adults-only affair. With this advanced notice, we hope that you can make arrangements and enjoy a child-free date night! If not, we understand and look forward to celebrating with you soon.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Allow yourself 15-20 minutes prior to 3:00PM (Eastern Time) to park and find your seat upstairs in the ceremony space upon your arrival.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will be directed downstairs to enjoy cocktail hour, while family and bridal party photos are taken. In the meantime, the upstairs will be turned into the reception area. We will reconvene for dinner and dancing, once the photos are complete.
