We want you to have a great weekend! If you will be in Miller Beach for Friday night (or don't mind multiple trips) join us at the Rehearsal Picnic at 6:00 p.m. CDT, Friday, June 10, 2022 at 18th Street Brewery 5725 Miller Avenue, Gary, IN 46403 We have the outdoor patio at 18th Street Brewery in Miller Beach reserved for a rehearsal picnic. (Kids allowed and encouraged to attend!) Street parking is available along Miller Avenue, South Lake Street and there is a small parking lot on Miller Avenue in front of the train tracks, across from the Brewery. In addition to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from 18th Street Brewery, vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes will be served courtesy of the Neal-Nehria family. For those kids and adults who aren’t that into Indian food, we’ll have some pizzas delivered from Miller Pizza. If you have RSVP'd for the Rehearsal Dinner, then you are all set. If not, please let us know by June 6 so we have an accurate headcount.

If you’re making a weekend of it, we highly recommend a visit to the Indiana Dunes. Our favorite area is near Porter Beach. There is a lakeside parking lot where you can either hang out at the beach or hike up some of the dunes. Our favorite hike is the “Three Dune Challenge” which is 1.5 miles of single-track dirt paths, stairs, and sandy dunes for a total of 552 vertical feet climbing up Mt. Tom, Mt. Holden and Mt. Jackson.

For those spending Saturday night nearby - and if you haven’t had enough of us already - Lisa and Antoinette have graciously offered up their Miller Beach home for a casual brunch and lawn games. If you would like to join us, please let us know by June 6 that you’ll join us for brunch. We’d love to see you one last time before you head back home or perhaps check out some of the nearby Dunes.
