Hey friends and family! As the big day approaches, we have a couple reminders and suggestions. It is going to be hot—as in potentially 95 degrees hot—and the entire wedding/event will take place outside. Please don’t be shy about bringing hats, fans, water bottles, and light, breezy clothes. We will have a covered tent, a barn, Gatorade, water, La Croix, tea, lemonade, and various alcoholic beverages. Please stay hydrated! Feel free to bring a camp chair to take advantage of space and to be more comfortable. Blackacre is a farm, so please wear comfortable shoes. We have almost 200 guests, so you may have to park alongside the road and/or walk some distance to the house where the wedding will take place. This is a NO SMOKING venue, and we will be fined if smoking does occur. We also ask that people carpool as able and/or utilize designated drivers, Uber/Lyft, etc. and drink in moderation. There is a sharp dog-leg in the road almost immediately after taking a left to leave the venue, so please exercise caution. We can’t wait to see you and celebrate with you, and are thrilled that you are coming to our wedding! (:
