Where is Lake Odessa?

Answer

Lake Odessa is located roughly thirty minutes Northeast of Hastings Michigan.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

They’re is no dress code. However part of the time may be sent outside in between the wedding and reception so please dress accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is starting at 11:30 sharp so please arrive at 15-30 minutes before.

Where is parking?

Answer

Parking is across the street at the large church building. We will have signs. There is then a walk across the street to the chapel where the actual wedding is being held. Golf carts will be available for those who need it to transport you to the wedding from the parking lot.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately due to our small venue we have limited seating. The invitation will say who exactly is invited. We are asking that only those people attend.

Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

We did not do any hotel blocks but under the travel page on our website you can see which hotels are closet to the venue.

Can I take personal photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

At the beginning of the ceremony right as the bride is walking in we will have a 1-2 minute period where you can take as many personal photos as you would like. After that we request that the phones and cameras be put away for the remainder of the ceremony. Please bare in mind we have hired a photographer for the day. Please allow him to move about freely so he can get the shots he needs.

Are masks required?

Answer

At this time masks are not mandatory, however, if you feel the need to wear one please do. This could change so please be flexible we don’t know what the future holds.
