Question

What is the status of Covid-19 in Vermont?

Answer

Vermont currently has some of the lowest infection rates in the country. As of August 1st, 84% of Vermont's population has already received at least one vaccine dose, and the state has lifted all Covid-19 restrictions around travel and gathering. This website shows the latest updates in Vermont: www.vermont.gov/vermont-forward. Due to the recent increase in cases of vaccinated people getting/ spreading the virus, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could get a COVID test a couple of days prior to the weekend (PCR test is usually more reliable, if possible) and remain home if you have any symptoms. Weather permitting, we plan to hold the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing outdoors. The reception including dinner will be inside the barn. For now, please plan to bring a mask.

Question

Is there a vaccine/testing policy?

Answer

All our guests have informed us they are fully vaccinated. There will be approximately 130 people in attendance. Due to the recent increase in vaccinated people getting/ spreading the virus, we’d greatly appreciate it if all our guests would get a COVID test a couple of days prior to the weekend (PCR test is usually more reliable, if possible) and remain home if you have any symptoms.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Unfortunately we decided not to invite children to this event due to Covid-19 concerns. If you have questions about this, please let us know and we'll try to work out a plan that works for you.
