Things To Do

Check back closer to the wedding for some more restaurants and activities in Rhode Island.

Providence

Providence, RI

Less than 10 miles from the hotel, Rhode Island's Capital is a charming little city with some great restaurants. Visit Brown University and then peruse the eclectic shops and restaurants on Thayer Street in College Hill. Andreas has great Greek food. Conversely, explore some incredible Italian Food on Atwells Avenue in Federal Hill, such as Andinos or Enoteca Umberto. Finally, if you forgot anything or need any last second things, the Providence Place Mall in Downtown Providence probably has what you need.

Newport

Newport, RI

About 30 miles south of the hotel, Newport is known as the sailing capital of the world. Head to the Cliff Walk, a National Recreational Trail, to explore the famous Newport mansions set along the dramatic New England Coast. Then head downtown to explore the restaurants and shops overlooking Newport Harbor. If you're there early, go to The Cookie Jar for cinnamon buns. If you're there a bit later, consider The Landing, Diego's, or the Black Pearl. If history is more your thing, explore Fort Adams and then go to the White Horse Tavern, the oldest bar in the United States.

Warwick

Warwick, RI

To be honest, we already gave you enough to do in Providence and Newport. And you'll be too busy watching us get married! All kidding aside, Warwick is a suburb and doesn't have quite as much to do as the above destinations.
