We're so excited to share some of our favorite spots in the Iowa City area with you!

One of our favorite walking trails in the Iowa City Area! Fun Fact: It's also the spot that Matt popped the question and Allie said Yes!

Terry Trueblood Recreation Area

Another favorite spot that we often take walks at with Ruby! This park has a splashed, recently re-done playground, and a frisbee golf course

Wetherby Park

Just outside of the Iowa City area is an 812-acre lake with lots of walking trails. There's also swimming, fishing & boat rentals along with camping & picnic sites.

Lake MacBride State Park

A fun fall time activity spot for us! They have apple and pumpkin picking along with a cidery on the orchard where you can enjoy hard cider and good food

Wilson's Orchard & Farm

This was the original Capitol of the state of Iowa and anchors the campus of the University of Iowa.

One of our favorite spots in town! This local brewery and taproom has a large patio with lots of fire pits and yard games to play. As well as serving all their beers on tap, they also have a great selection of street food!

Another fun brewery in town! 
Like Big Grove they also have a variety of yard games to play and have a great selection of beers!

Backpocket Brewing

One of the best local brunch spots! The diner has a fun and funky atmosphere along with a vast menu with creative twists on traditional diner fare. If you love comfort food, this is your spot to visit!

Bluebird Diner

Infamous breakfast spot in Iowa city! A popular spot that many Presidents have frequented while visiting Iowa City
