It all started over a game of Cards Against Humanity at a mutual friends house for Sunday Game Night. Allie and Matt continued to hang out with the same group of friends until Matt finally packed up the courage to ask Allie out on a date. He took her to the Van Allen Observatory, to our now favorite Iowa City Restaurant One-Twenty Six, and ended the evening eating Molly's cupcakes on the steps of the Old Capital Building. "It was the best first date EVER" - Allie A couple weeks later, Matt asked Allie to be his girlfriend on a walk around Terry Trueblood Recreation Area. A year and a half later, Matt asked Allie to be his forever at the same spot with the help of our sweet puppy Ruby. Now we can't wait to continue our story on September 18th, 2021 at the Iowa Memorial Union with all our friends and family!
