It all began June 2021, when Alec and Alli were brought together by chance. Alec started to work at the office that Alli had been working in for 3 years, the only problem was they worked for different companies. Still, as the weeks went on and Alec walked past Alli every day in the office, he started to have a little crush on the cute girl at the front desk. Come November, Alec still had not built up the courage to ask her on a date, but thought he was smooth and came up with a plan to get her number, Alli would beg to differ. Eventually Alec was able to work up the courage and asked her on a date January 14th, 2022. That is when the story truly begins.... After that first date at the ice skating rink, they both knew that there was something special between them. Alec and Alli began navigating their new relationship going on dates, hanging out with friends, and still working together. While at work they kept their relationship a secret from their bosses and co-workers, but outside the office their relationship blossomed. A trip to the beaches of Cape Cod, road trips to Rochester to spend time with family, or movie nights are just some of the highlights of their early relationship. As August 2022 came, Alli left the office that they worked at together and began her journey to becoming a speech pathologist. Alec and Alli went from seeing each other everyday at work, to now navigating around school and work. Over the next year Alec and Alli went on more adventures, even leaving the country to their first vacation together to the Dominican Republic. During this time Alli was busy crushing it in her Master's and Alec was trying to reach his dream of getting into medical school. After trials and tribulations, Alec was given his chance, and got into medical school. Alec and Alli now faced long distance for the first time. That one year of long distance was gone in a flash. Those short weekend visits were some of the best time that Alec and Alli got to spend with each other. May of 2024 Alli graduated from her Master's and Alec was finishing up his first year of school when they decided it was time to move in together. And what better time to take their relationship from a couple, to a little family with the addition of their puppy, Oakley. Alec, Alli, and now Oakley all moved into a small apartment not too far from Alec's school and Alli started working nearby. After a few months, Alec knew that Alli was the one, the one that he would spend the rest of his life with. He started to plan the perfect engagement weekend to surprise her. Alli had a little surprise of her own and happened to get tickets to the New York Rangers game for them. She thought it was perfect, his favorite team and her first game, but little did she know it happened to be the night before they were to be engaged. The engagement went off without a hitch, right across the street from their very first date 3 years earlier, followed by celebrating with family and friends that day, it could not have been a more perfect beginning for their journey into life together. All of that is what leads us to now and forever for these two......
