We met on Catholic Match, but we quickly realized that we both attended the same Sunday mass and would have likely met each other eventually. Luckily for us, though, the app certainly sped up the process! After a few dates, we began a formal relationship, and a little more than a year later we are now engaged to be married!

Aaron’s original plan to propose was quite well thought out and romantic… but unfortunate circumstances threw those plans out the window. He was able to adapt quickly by enlisting the help of his younger sister! They set up a spot behind her house with lights, candles and a little campfire. Then Aaron led Allie out there on the pretense of going on a hike (which Allie saw right through), got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife.
