I met Alisha through my friend Shawn Havey. Shawn and Alyssa (Alisha’s friend) played matchmaker and convinced us to connect on social media. Alisha made the first move with connecting and we went on our first date 1/2/23. It was a coffee date at Starbucks and a trip to a local park to chat more. I could tell she was nervous but kept her engaged in conversation. At the end of our date I dropped her off at her car in the Starbucks parking lot. She exited my truck so fast it was like a barrel roll and I thought to myself that maybe she wasn’t into me. She texted later that day, Thank God. I didn’t barrel roll out of his truck. I said bye but, didn’t go in for the hug! I was nervous OKAY!!!😬 We dated and really loved one another’s company. We have the same beliefs in God, moral and values. He was sweet, persistent and just a different kind of man 💜We discussed meeting the kids and were on the same page about how to raise them. She made the first move when it came to the first kiss. Aaaaaay Oh! See it took a while for the nerves to settle plus someone had to make the move! Everything just felt perfect and I knew she was special. I knew God had brought Travis and I together! 🥰 She met Teagan and Jaxson a few months into our relationship. We took them out to Toppers for pizza. Teagan instantly fell in love with Alisha’s loving heart and personality. Jaxson at first was a little distant but quickly warmed up to Alisha. The kiddos love her as a mother and can’t wait to come over to hangout as a family with her. I couldn’t ask for a better person to parent the kids with. She loves these kids I think more then I do… 🤔  Travis adores his kids that’s what made me fall deeper in love with him. I knew if he’s that great of father he’d be a great boyfriend, fiancé and husband! As a family we are all loving our lives together. It could be a day at home relaxing or a day out and about doing fun stuff. As long as we are all with each other it’s a blessing. We are all super excited for our wedding. Alisha and I are taking the next step to committing ourselves for life to one another. I think the kids are excited about the wedding because they get to dress up all fancy… 😂 The big day is coming and we are all super excited for it and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone near and dear to us!
