Our story began in Spring 2009 when we met on the school bus. At the time, we weren't thinking about forever but after finishing high school and college together, forever is all we have in mind.

In August 2017, we brought home the sweetest little black and tan dachshund. We taught Milo how to roll over and Milo taught us about unconditional love.

We especially love the fall holiday season. Beginning in high school, Alex started the tradition of having us both attend the Luminary Walk at the Overland Park Arboretum. The grounds are transformed into a wonderland of candles and lights. On a perfect November evening, holding the ring that he picked out, Alex proposed. Leana said yes!

Spring 2019 brought on yet another adventure, home ownership. While it's definitely had its ups and downs, we are proud to say we own a home in South Kansas City, MO complete with a fenced-in back yard for Milo.
