As most of you know, our story began in the city of love: Paris. We met 11 years ago when we were paired in the same group on orientation day for our year abroad in France at 18 years old. The chemistry was instant, and through some casual banter, we discovered we were both from Huntington Beach — and in the smallest world twist, that Alex’s dad, Claudio, had actually been my grandpa Doug’s doctor. Somewhere between exploring cobblestone streets, distracting each other in literature class, and late nights out at Parisian clubs, we became best friends with undeniable (and at the time, unspoken) crushes on each other. We stayed close friends after Paris, and by junior year at USC, our storybook “friends to lovers” chapter officially began. Since then, our lives have been one big adventure — from graduating together to launching creative businesses and becoming full-time digital nomads. We’ve traveled to over 20 countries together (and 40 each), photographing hotels and Airbnbs, documenting our journey on social media, and living in some unforgettable places: 10 months in Paris, six months in Bali, two in Peru, a month in a circus in Nicaragua — and now we've settled our roots in a city that feels like it combines the charm of all of them: Venice, California. We've truly grown up together — as students, business partners, travel companions, and now, co-parents to two adorable kittens: Poppy and Daisy. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by our closest friends and family — the people who have been with us through every season of our lives.
