Best Daughter Ever - She is my princess and the light of my life. She is the best daughter a mother could ask for and is a beacon in the dark. She could ignite a room with one beautiful smile! She is so smart and you can't help but be drawn to her. What better person to stand by my side when I exchange my vows with my beloved? I know I can always count on her and know she will always be there for me. So many times she has stood by me and encouraged me to keep going and keep being me. I am truly grateful for her love and support. She is my baby girl and I love her so much.

Marty and I have known each other since our sophomore year at San Pasqual High and man has it been an interesting ride. We started our careers a month apart, we got married months apart, had our first kids months apart, we separated the marriages months apart and now may be remarried months apart. Hmmm, maybe WE should have gotten married. Seriously, I am grateful to have Marty be a part of my life, to call my friend and have at my side as my best man. He's been there thru thick and thin and I wouldn't nor couldn't ask for anyone else to stand with me on Saturday March 2nd 2019.

What can I say...She is my side kick and my confidant! My friend has a wonderful positive spirit and a super kind heart! She will go out of her way for her family and her friends and that makes her such a blessing to me to be able to call her friend, Lorena is so very dear to me and everyone who meets her can't help but like her. She makes me look good..LOL She makes me laugh so much and nights out with her and Tony are always a blast. She is someone I can lean on and know she will always have my back. She gives me her opinion straight from the hip and I wouldn't have it any other way! Love this woman.

Joseph Alexander is my oldest child and bright smart 20 year old. He can read music, I find that incredible, and can play a saxophone, a chelo and the piano. Joey graduated from Oceanside High School in 2016 and he's about to start his 3rd year at Mira Costa Community Col. He's named after his Uncle Louie, my older brother. My brother was known as Uncle Joe to all the kids in the family and as a way of honoring him I used that name for Joey. There's a story there and will tell it if anyone asks. The guy's a performer, whether it was a magician in the 3rd grade at the Holiday Showcase or the Drum Major his senior year of high school or singing with the Mira Costa choir, he's always ready and steady for the stage. Joey is a bright, confident young man that I am very proud to call mine.

So many great times shared with this beautiful woman. She is my wifey...Don't be jealous Alex. When she left my department I felt so sad. She left such a big impression on me that we had to remain great friends. This woman has picked me up so many times and made my spirit soar. She is the best hug giver ever! This lovely lady has such a great smile and big heart and unconditional love for her family and friends that makes her unique. Everyone I know who ever worked with her or shared time with her knows what I mean. She is terrific company and makes anytime fun. Love you my beautiful boo

The Max... Max is my second child and the guy that keeps me laughing. He's quick with the one liner but just as quick with his thoughtfulness. He's the ball player, from football to baseball and anything in between. Full of energy ever since he was a peewee. The guy couldn't sit still, what are we doing and where we going. His phrase that paid was "I want to play ball, I want to play ball". Max is a senior at Oceanside High School now with plans to continue his learning after graduation.

Let me just say that Loops and I go way way back. She is my sister from another mister. Lupe is one of my greatest confidants, advisers and motivators. She bright and beautiful and so funny and I couldn’t imagine my life without my sister in it. I’m glad that God granted us the opportunity to reconnect after losing touch with one another and to think we lived so very close to each other for years and never knew! High School was always fun with this girl and things haven’t changed because we were able to pick up right where we left off. We still have them good times and yeah the world had to watch out for us.

Louie is the oldest of the nephews and the son of my older brother Louie. Growing up he was Little Louie because he's Louie the 3rd, after his Dad and Grandfather. We basically grew up together along with his older sister Kim and share some of the same interests, memories and laughs. Some of the best times that I've had have been with Louie enjoying the outdoors and mountain rides during deer season. He has a daughter and son and is married to a wonderful woman named Kristy.

I wouldn't be where I am today without the love and support of my Mommy! This woman has taught me everything I know about how to be a loving mother and a great partner. Without her I would be lost since my mother is such a big part of my heart. She is my Angel here on earth. I know I can always count on my mom for guidance or even just to call her for a recipe. BTW, I want Corina's recipe cards! LOL I know my mom will go out of her way to help when needed and I appreciate and respect her for all she's been through and all she's done for my brother and I. You are my hero and my warrior queen! I Love you Mommy!

Mrs Cruz, my Ma. There was no fooling this lady, she was on top of everything before you knew it. She was stern but it was for our own good. I once told her "gee Mom your short" and she responded "yes but I can still bend over and get my shoe". Her Faith is as strong as any and her love for her kids is undeniable. She has taught me how to have faith in the Lord and know that all things will work out. The lady isn't as mobile as she once was but is still as alive as she's ever been and still teaching.

What can I say about my dad? Well let me start by saying how much I love this man! My step-dad is exactly what the word means. A Dad who STEPPED in and Stepped up to love, protect and cherish me as his own with all the love of a father and then some. My dad is so very special to me and I thank the Lord that He sent him into our lives. My dad has been so amazing to my family and my kids adore and love their grandpa so much. I can not imagine my life without him in it and I know he will always be there for me. Love you DAD.

Father of the Groom but better known as Dad or Pop. He enjoyed his family and was grateful for everything the good Lord gave him. He was a role model and mentor to many and the foundation for our family . He and I spent many Fall seasons "hunting" for deer and sitting in front of the television watching round after round of boxing. And let me not forget to thank him for showing me the Looney Tunes and even more the 3 Stooges. Thanks Pop

OMG! My son is such a character! I love my chango with all my heart. He keeps me on my toes and his super silly personality keeps me laughing. This kid is so ambitious and so talented. I love to hear and see him on stage. He is bigger than life and yeah he knows it! LOL just kidding son. I was blessed with my last baby he has been such a wonderful young man and a real joy to be around. I love my special time with him and wouldn't trade it for the world.

If someone asked us who in the family is the spiritual guide, we would have to say it is Pastor Jimmy! We were very honored to have James accepting our request to officiate our ceremony, he generously agreed to become ordained in order to do so. WE are truly overjoyed and blessed to have him join the two of us in matrimony. Jimmy is married to Anna, Alex's sister and he's the Godfather to Joey and Max. We always look forward to family time with him because we know that when gathered we will be given blessings in abundance and we cherish his guidance. From the bottom of our hearts we love you and thank you for being our officiant.

I miss my boy and I wish my son could be here for the wedding but I know that I just have to be patient and someday soon you will all get a chance to meet him. My son is a very loving person with a great heart and a power of spirit like no other. When I think of my boy I can't help but smile at his hi-jinks over the years and of the abundance of love he has always shown me. I am so proud of his recent achievements and so amazed by his talent and skills. I know his future is great and I can't wait to spend time with him. I like you for always, I love you forever, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

Eric is the son of Juan and Josefina. The young man is 5 years old and is a great fan of Legos. We choose and asked Eric to be our ring bearer because of his Dad's connection to the Cruz family. Juan was a boxer that was trained by my Dad who's guidance and friendship I've been missing this last year. Juan and my Dad had a great relationship and by having Eric as our ring bearer we thought it would be a way of having my Father there on our special day. I know Pop would be happy you will be with us, thank you Juan and Josefina.

Our Sweet Jamie... Jamie is the daughter of Marty Chapman and Samantha Hansen, who, BTW, are also engaged to be married! What can we say about this bundle of love. She is so smart and very bright and she lights up a room with her great big personality! This little girl can have a good time anywhere she goes! When we asked Jamie if she wanted to be our flower girl, her answer was so adorable..."Of course I will". Watch out mom and dad she is a real beauty! We love you princess and are so happy to have you as our flower girl!
