It all started at a restaurant in Chico. Laura would come in and sit at the bar in the back, ordering some champagne or a snack, waiting for her friend and roommate to get off work as a server there. Aaron was the charming bartender who slowly became more than just a friendly face behind the bar. Just as we started getting close, Laura secured a job back home in San Jose and thought it might be the end of a fling. But Aaron didn't let it go so easily--thank goodness!--and we decided to see where a relationship might take us. Through years of long distance and conflicting schedules, finally living together, and then living very closely together during lockdown, our relationship has only grown to be better and stronger. Neither of us can pinpoint an exact moment when we knew it, but we both started to realize we had found "the one" in each other. We decided we wanted to get married, and started looking at engagement rings together. It was two years later that Aaron proposed (if you haven't heard that story, it's a fun one), and another two to get us to the altar. But here we are, and we're so excited!
