Yes. This process generally takes around 6- 8 weeks to receive.

What currency do they use in Punta Cana?
Answer
The Dominican peso. However the US dollar is widely accepted in Punta Cana so if you are planning to bring cash you will be fine with either. The staff prefer to be tipped in USD. However it is recommended to exchange money in advance at your local bank if you want the local currency.
