Akash first saw Binita in the Wilson Dining Hall (allegedly -- he remembers this, she does not). Regardless, she had to learn his name when they ended up being dance partners on their Bollywood dance team, mostly to say "You're going the wrong way, Akash!" It turns out their partnering wouldn't stop there, as they chose to do all of their programming systems assignments together. To their dismay, the final took 80 hours, but luckily, they got to spend those 80 hours together. After that, their friendship only got closer, studying together until 4am and going to Mamoun's just for the hot sauce, until Binita finally found the guts to ask Akash out. Thankfully, he said yes...and ten years later, she said yes too!
