FREE & Kid Friendly! Right next to the farmers market and a great place to soak in Nashville history. This is a great alternative to the Country Music Hall of Fame. A great activity to escape the heat and learn something new.
Totally worth it *if* you are a country music fan (especially old country). $25 just museum admission but plenty of add ons if you want to make a whole experience of it.
This is a Nashville deep cut and a *true* local secret. Adri worked at this bakery for a while and rates it 11/10. Enjoy seasonal breakfast/lunch and artisan bread made on site. Best scrambled eggs and almond croissant in town. $
An old factory recently renovated with eateries, shops, and art galleries. Grab a mini-charcuterie board to-go at our friends' shop, Culture + Co or a donut at Five Daughter's Bakery! A little off the main drag of downtown, but worth it! $-$$
If you're willing to wait in line, Pancake Pantry is worth it. Another local dive that has turned into an attraction for locals and tourists alike. Located in the historic Hillsboro Village neighborhood, there's plenty of shops to peruse to walk off the calories afterwards. $
For those looking for a unique Nashville eatery. Go small with desserts and apps or ball out on a big meal. Super fun atmosphere with bowling, bocce ball, and an outdoor courtyard with a wading pool. *Not kid friendly* $$-$$$
Grab a coffee from Bongo Java across the street (it's lame, but a rite of passage!) and take a stroll through the campus where Adri and Brook met in 2015.
A little slice of Vegas right in Nashville. Walk around this gorgeous hotel complete with waterfalls, an Epcot-like mini town, and even a boat ride throughout the inside of the hotel! This is a little out of the way, so best to pair with a trip to SoundWaves water park or the Grand Ole' Opry.
For those looking for an mid-upscale sushi experience, this is the place for you! Request the rooftop and enjoy one-of-a-kind rolls with a view of the Nashville skyline. $$$
For those looking to get out of the city, the drive to Franklin is totally worth it! Start at the Factory for coffee at Honest and light shopping, then head to main street downtown Franklin to walk the historic drag. *Fun Fact: downtown Franklin was the inspiration for main street at Disney!
