Adam and Savannah met during college when Adam was Kyle's roommate and fellow Nuance brother at the University of Akron. Savannah was still attending The Ohio State University when Kyle ("jokingly") told Savannah that his roommate was single and ready to mingle. She thought Kyle was just messing around since he’s always been a jokester. Savannah came up to Akron for fall break to visit Kyle and friends during the weekend. When Adam and Savannah finally met in person, they instantly knew that there was a connection. They had their first date on November 2, 2018 at the Chick-fil-A on Howe Ave. in Akron (and stayed there way too long). They knew from that point on that they liked each other and wanted to be together. They officially started dating on November 16, 2018 and said "I love you" on the same day. Since then, they have been inseparable and basically twins (sorry Logan). They have loved the past few years together and knew they wanted to be together forever after their one year anniversary. On their special day, Adam and Savannah want to share the love they have for each other with all of you and they look forward to spending such a special time in their lives with such wonderful friends and family.

During the month of November, Adam planned dates for each even numbered day of the month since their anniversary is in November. Each date was a surprise that was unveiled the night before the event (so Savannah could figure out the appropriate attire for each date). The dates ranged from nights at home to double dates with friends or dinner at their favorite brewery. Nov. 2 - R. Shea & All Fired Up Nov. 4 - Chopped at home Nov. 6 - Cosi & Otherworld Nov. 8 - Blanket fort and movies at home Nov. 10 - Escape room with friends Nov. 12 - Topgolf with Kyle and Emily Nov. 14 - Stan Hywet (& proposal!!) Nov. 16 - Couples Massage Nov. 18 - Wine & Paint with Mickey and Ahnee Nov. 20 - Friendsgiving Nov. 24 - VR Games with Logan and Laura Nov. 30 - Fancy dinner On Saturday November 14, 2021, Adam took Savannah to Stan Hywet for a tour of the gardens and the mansion. As they entered the property, it began to snow. The snowflakes were the big, fluffy kind that you see in Hallmark movies. They toured the mansion and pointed out all 23 fireplaces in the house. After exiting the house, every part of the gardens was covered in snow and looked like a winter wonderland. As they walked down the path of birch trees, Savannah told Adam that he should have brought the ring and proposed in the birch tree alley while surrounded by snow. After berating Adam for at least ten minutes about how he should propose in the snow and get down on his knee “right now”, they ended up at the conservatory. The plants were wonderful and a nice little escape from the cold. Finally, Adam got down on his knee and proposed to Savannah. She responded with a “YES” after asking why he didn’t propose out in the snow. Logan and Laura were waiting at the conservatory to catch the proposal on video and surprised Savannah. That day was magical and straight out of a Hallmark movie. They concluded the day by taking pictures in the gardens at Stan Hywet and celebrating this engagement with friends and family.
