Andrea and Adam were brought together in 2012 by their friend, Mary. Adam was deployed to Kuwait shortly after but kept in touch with Andrea and they had their first date a year later. In January of 2014, Andrea and Adam began their long-distance relationship which included regular trips to Texas where Adam was stationed, a 14-month deployment to Korea for Adam, and countless phone calls in-between. Adam moved back to Massachusetts in 2016 where he and Andrea have since moved into their apartment in Wakefield and rescued their dog, Penny. In March of 2021, Adam had booked a weekend getaway at the Cliff House in Maine. On the drive up, Adam stopped at what looked to be a “nice” beach trail in York and suggested they take a walk. Adam got down on one knee and asked Andrea to marry him, and of course, she said yes!
